Campsite Code

Please understand the code listed below is in place so that you can be sure that we take the enjoyment and safety of your stay seriously. We hope you agree that the code is more common sense and is there to protect the quality of your stay.

Our Code (In no particular order)

Arrival and departure: At the Glampsite you can arrive from 3pm on the day of your stay and departure is by 10am. At the Summer Campsite arrival is from 1pm and departure by midday.

Hot tubs: Our main concerns are safety and that the hot tub itself is not misused as it is primarily a relaxation spa and not a paddling / play pool.

Children must never be in the hot tub by themselves and that they are supervised at all times. In our opinion they are not suitable for very young children.

That anyone using the hot tub must shower first, this is to ensure that any products like fake tan, suntan lotions, grass etc. do not end up in the spa.

To only use the controls for the hot tub indicated by us.

That the thermal cover is replaced immediately after use. This is to ensure the safety of children and the minimum of heat loss from the spa.

If these rules are not followed and we have to clean, refill and reheat the spa during your stay we will only do so at cost and may mean that you lose the use of the spa during your stay due to the time needed to heat the water.

Unfortunately due to the cost of energy it is now a significant cost to heat the spa from cold.

We will also check the health of the spa daily.

We reserve the right to withdraw the use of the hot tub during your stay if the above rules are not followed.

Cars: Please take care when driving on the site and when arriving and departing via the country lane. Only two cars are allowed per pitch unless agreed prior to your stay, the campsite car park is reserved for our guests only.

Day Guests: Day guests are not allowed at our Glampsite, all accommodation and amenities are for the exclusive use of paying guests only.

At our Summer Campsite day guests are allowed and charged at £5 per person, arrival is from 10am and day guests must leave by 10pm. You must inform us of all day guests before arrival and it is entirely at our discretion as to whether we allow them to visit and must leave if asked to do so by us.

Toilets: Please help us to maintain the quality of our toilets by ensuring all small children are supervised when using the toilets and that they are left as you would expect to find them.

Candles: The use of candles is not permitted in the accommodation or outside on the decking at the Glampsite due to the fire risk and damage from spilt wax.

Campfires: Campfires are only to be lit in the fire pit already in place at the glampsite and must not exceed the original pit size. At the Summer Campsite all campfires must be in a raised fire pit off the ground, you can hire a fire pit from us or you are welcome to bring your own fire pit as long as they are in good condition and of a modest size. The emphasis is on campfire not bonfire! All our guidelines for fire safety must be abided by.
BBQ’s at the Summer Campsite must also be raised and kept off the ground.

In the interests of general child safety at our sites campfires must not be left unattended and must be exstinguished before going out or leaving to go home, any campfire found left unattended will be put out.

At the glampsite a complimentary box of Eco logs is provided for the campfire and wood stove, thereafter Eco logs for the stoves or campfires can be purchased at £8 per box, you can burn paper or card on the campfire but plastics or any material that can cause unpleasant smoke must not be burnt.  Only eco logs we provide can be used at the Glampsite, bringing your own wood is not allowed.

Only at the Summer Campsite can you bring wood for the camp fires if you wood like, whatever wood you bring to burn must not cause unpleasant smoke.

No wood is to be taken from any woodland as this is not sustainable, will effect the ecology of the woodland and lead to a very sterile environment.

We reserve the right to restrict any fire/BBQ where we believe there is a high risk of injury and/or harm to persons and the surrounding environment. This can be implemented at any time before or during your stay and will not result in any refund of your stay.

Axes & Saws: These are not allowed on either site for reasons of safety regarding yourself and other guests,  our insurance does not cover us for the use of any axe or saw.

Noise: No excessively loud or amplified music at the Glampsite or Summer Campsite and we have a no noise policy between the hours of  11pm and 8am. Any other anti social behaviour that may intrude on the enjoyment of other guests staying on the sites or have an adverse effect on the surrounding environment is not allowed.

Groups: We do not take groups and do not allow hen, stag parties or any type of party at the Glampsite and the Glampsite cannot be exclusively booked for events. Small groups are possible at the Summer Campsite but only with full disclosure of size and purpose of the stay.

Damage: Any damage to any part of the sites or accommodations, fittings and contents must be paid for.

Rubbish: Please put all your rubbish in the bins provided in the car park area. Please be careful not to allow any littering of the campsite including cigarette butts.

Smoking: Is not allowed in or on any of the structures at the glampsite or Summer Campsite. If you do smoke wherever you are on the farm please dispose of your butts safely and do not leave them on the ground, we class this as litter.

Pets: Sorry no pets.

Fireworks and lanterns: These are not allowed.

Water: All water available is mains water and fit for drinking. Excessive water use ie. car washing, hose pipes are not allowed. All our water is metered!

Showers and sinks: Please supervise all children when using the hot water in the showers or sink, they are capable of producing very hot water.
