An eastern feel at Easter!

Actually we have to admit we didn’t have it quite as bad as the picture suggests, this was taken from a previous snow fall we had and although we had a bitterly cold northeasterly wind over Easter we only had a few flakes of snow!

Having such a cold start to the season was a challenge in itself but we had some intrepid guests who braved the chilly Easter to snuggle up in the Yurt and enjoy cosying up to the wood stove. At last it looks like the weather is hotting up with temperatures of 20 degrees being banded about so please take a look at our farmstay page where you can find all the info you need to book a stay with us we’re looking forward to meeting all our new guests in this our first full season.

Our new Safari Tent is almost complete and we hope to post some more pictures of it all kitted out inside and out, it has such a great feel to it already which will only get better with the addition of the wood stove.

A quick word regarding our 28 wild wood camping this summer, we hope to post the info to the site this week coming so keep a check on our website and facebook pages. One last thing to do is to just inform our local authority so that they are in the know, they don’t like surprises!
